Diamond Raffle

Each year Altrusa International of Branch County holds a raffle to support its community service projects. The raffle is one of two fundraisers held each year; the other is the Golf Scramble. The Diamond Raffle drawing takes place the first Wednesday in December. The first prize is the winner’s choice of a 3/4 carat diamond pendant or earrings. Tickets are priced at $5 each or five tickets for $20. Tickets are available from several local businesses and any Altrusa member. As with the Golf Scramble, all proceeds of the raffle go to support community service projects.

Golf Scramble

The annual Altrusa of Branch County Golf Scramble started in 1999.  This event has raised over $278,000 over the years starting with a net income of  just $3,800 in the first year. All net proceeds go back to our community.

The event is held the Friday before Memorial weekend.  The scramble format brings in more than 100 golfers that play at every talent level.  Dozens of sponsors step up every year to help raise money for our community.
