Happy Feet Provides 1450+ Pairs of Shoes or Boots to Children

Presenting 20 pairs of footwear for use in the rewards store are Pat Sampsel and Connie Winbigler, members of the Hands On Committee for the Altrusa Club.

The Altrusa Club of Branch County has been supplying needed footwear to children in Branch County since 2008. Their “Happy Feet” program has provided over 1450 pairs of shoes or boots along with socks to children ages 1-19.

One of the recent recipients of the footwear is the Beginnings Care For Life Center. Through one of their educational programs, parents earn points which are then used to obtain a pair of shoes or boots for their child.
